What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you subscribe to our newsletter, fill out a form or sign up for our classes.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address or phone number.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

How do we protect your information?
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
The Parenting Center values the privacy of donors and respects their wishes regarding their donations. The agency does collect names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of donors but does not share names or personal contact information of donors to any outside individual or business. Exceptions shall be those required by law, requested in grant applications or in connection with bank credit or debit card transactions. For online donations, The Parenting Center uses an online payment processing service that maintains a secure link to protect credit card and personal information. The Parenting Center acknowledges donors by name and /or description of donations in print or electronic material such as newsletters, brochures, event invitations or programs, solicitation letters, annual reports, the organization’s website or other means of expressing appreciation for the donors’ assistance. A donor wishing to view samples of these publications may do so by contacting the Development Director at firstname.lastname@example.org. Each donor has the right to remain anonymous. If a donor requests that their contribution be anonymous, The Parenting Center will not include their name on any of the printed or electronic material mentioned above. If a donor chooses to opt out of any acknowledgement listing, the donor’s name and address will be made available only to members and/or staff of The Parenting Center who are responsible for managing the business of the agency. All donors will receive a thank you letter from the agency that can be also used for verification of the donation. All records of donations shall be maintained by The Parenting Center according to the applicable standards of record retention in effect at the time of the donation.
