The PATH Project- Self Care, Stress Management, and Resiliency for Caregivers – Junior League of Arlington

December 6 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Self-Care for the Caregiver: It is important for parents and other caregivers to understand the importance of self-care and being open to sharing the responsibility of caregiving. We will help caregivers come up with a plan to share caregiving responsibilities that also allows them time for addressing their own self-care needs.

Stress Management & Resiliency: This workshop helps parents understand the importance of managing their stress and building their resiliency to stress.  We will teach parents how to identify stressors and the main sources of their stress.  We will discuss ways to deal with stress and improve resiliency, and then will teach parents some relaxation techniques that they can use to reduce their stress levels.

Class meets from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

This is a FREE community class held in partnership with The PATH Project.

Please make childcare arrangements. Childcare is not available and children are not allowed in class.

Please arrive 15 minutes before class begins.

To avoid disruption, admission is not allowed  after class begins.

Certificate of Completion available.
