Family Life Education

One of the ways The Parenting Center maintains its mission of Providing Families the Tools to Succeed is through its Family Life Education program. Our highly skilled and caring staff is the reason more people come to us for parental help than any other agency in the area.

Classes

We offer parenting and family life education classes on more than 60 relevant topics, ranging from birth through the teen years. These classes and workshops are available at our offices, as well as other locations throughout the Metroplex. Continuing Education for Professionals

Professional Development workshops and training sessions are held several times each month. Credentialing certifications are available for social work (CEU). Check the Calendar page for a list of workshops, and sign-up online at our Registration page.

Parenting Education in Schools (PEPS)

Our PEPS program is taught in the Health I classes of the Fort Worth, Arlington, Crowley, and White Settlement school districts. It emphasizes making responsible choices, the differences in family structure, child development, and positive parenting skills.

Speakers

Staff educators can be arranged to present programs to clubs, churches, schools, businesses or other types of groups at their location. To schedule a program, call 817-332-6348.
